I'm quite terrible at this posting often thing.
A lot has happened since I last posted.
My face has cleared up beautifully.
I still get a couple break outs but nothing like what it use to be.
I updated my wardrobe a bit. I finally had the money to do so...
so I did!
And now, I'm often popping into stores to pick up new shirt or two.
I need to add more shoes to my 'collection'. I've noticed pretty much
all my shoes are black. Need some colors!
I saw my boyfriend graduate from Army bootcamp.
=)
It was amazing being able to see him.
I met his grandmother - really sweet lady.
Day 1
I saw him during the afternoon since we didn't get to South Carolina until 330pm. I wanted to see him ASAP but I had been in a car for 15 hours and felt beyond gross. So we checked into the hotel and we all (mother, brother, and I) quickly took showers. We then went to the base and met up with him and his family.
While my family went to a few stores his family and I went bowling.
It was super fun! We even took a few pictures.
(Which I'll put at the end of this post~)
Day 2
We watched his graduation ceremony and then we all met up and came up with a plan. We were going to meet up for lunch but we all had a few places to go to before hand. So him and his family went and got him a new phone while we went to the grocery store to get a few things.
We went to this really cute cafe off base. I think it was cuban food? I'm not sure.
It was really good though. After that his family and I went to this place that had mini golf, a race track, some video games, and laser tag. We had a bit of fun there. Nate and I played laser tag with some other people. It's very hard to run up and down ramps with sandals on!!
After that we went back on base and were going to go bowling again but it was only open to league players. That's when his family decided to head home. We all said our goodbyes and then they left.
My family and Nate went back to our hotel and we stayed while my mother and brother left. So we had a bit of alone time.
=)
When we took him back I found out later that night that he was a few minutes late and had to do push ups. I felt bad the rest of the night.
Day 3
I only got to see him for about 2 hours.
My mother and I showed up to the place he was at and waited on him to finish his work for the day. When he was done we sat and talked. He fell asleep and I got to read the diary he wrote while he was there.
I stayed until he was gone.
I watched him get on the bus and watched the bus drive away.
Day 3 was not a good day for me.
I'm glad we decided to stay another night and leave in the morning because the rest of the afternoon I was a heaping mess. I couldn't stop crying.
He is currently in Arizona for schooling but I get to talk to him EVERYDAY.
Only when he's not busy of course but I still get to talk to him.
=)
And now some pictures~
