It's been quite some time since I've posted.
Yikes!

I have a really good explanation.
Serious.
It's good.
Readyyyy?

K.
Quit school.
I moved!
Got engaged!
And got a job! Then lost said job.

Busybusy time for me.

OH. The page did change.
(To those that use to follow/comment you probably already noticed this. hah.)
This is just a temporary look.
Needed something.. new.

~~~~~~~~~~
After Nates graduation he went off to school and I stayed in Illinois.
Thenn school stopped being.. school and I left. Basically I was no longer learning
and that was no fault of mine. It was due to the school going though so many changes.
(Let's just say teachers would start then quit and the administrative people would start
and quit too. The few teachers that stayed would yell at you in front of clients as well.)
So I left school and shortly after Nate got stationed in Texas.
Then I decided to pack my bags and move to Texas to be with him.
=)
Then after moving I got a job and recently got fired from that job.
I got sick so they fired me basically. Woo!
Now that I have tons of free time I wanted to start blogging again!
Just in time too. I've got all kinds of goodies coming in the mail.
So.. I'm back!
There were a few things I was working on when I moved and that was..
Weekly Nails, My Dermalogica Progress, annd I think I was working on my tanning progress too.
I'll do the weekly nails again. (My nail police collection is super massive now!)
And I'll pick up the dermalogica process later. It did work amazingly well but
with the move and other factors I kinda stopped using it like I should.
I'm actually waiting on some new products to come now and once I get those
products I will pick up the progress posts again!
Oh.
Circle Lens!
I did toss quite a few when I moved.
They were expired! =(
I do have a few left that I need to post reviews for so I will do that too!
I'm quite terrible at this posting often thing.
A lot has happened since I last posted.
My face has cleared up beautifully.
I still get a couple break outs but nothing like what it use to be.
I updated my wardrobe a bit. I finally had the money to do so...
so I did!
And now, I'm often popping into stores to pick up new shirt or two.
I need to add more shoes to my 'collection'. I've noticed pretty much
all my shoes are black. Need some colors!
I saw my boyfriend graduate from Army bootcamp.
=)
It was amazing being able to see him.
I met his grandmother - really sweet lady.
Day 1
I saw him during the afternoon since we didn't get to South Carolina until 330pm. I wanted to see him ASAP but I had been in a car for 15 hours and felt beyond gross. So we checked into the hotel and we all (mother, brother, and I) quickly took showers. We then went to the base and met up with him and his family.
While my family went to a few stores his family and I went bowling.
It was super fun! We even took a few pictures.
(Which I'll put at the end of this post~)
Day 2
We watched his graduation ceremony and then we all met up and came up with a plan. We were going to meet up for lunch but we all had a few places to go to before hand. So him and his family went and got him a new phone while we went to the grocery store to get a few things.
We went to this really cute cafe off base. I think it was cuban food? I'm not sure.
It was really good though. After that his family and I went to this place that had mini golf, a race track, some video games, and laser tag. We had a bit of fun there. Nate and I played laser tag with some other people. It's very hard to run up and down ramps with sandals on!!
After that we went back on base and were going to go bowling again but it was only open to league players. That's when his family decided to head home. We all said our goodbyes and then they left.
My family and Nate went back to our hotel and we stayed while my mother and brother left. So we had a bit of alone time.
=)
When we took him back I found out later that night that he was a few minutes late and had to do push ups. I felt bad the rest of the night.
Day 3
I only got to see him for about 2 hours.
My mother and I showed up to the place he was at and waited on him to finish his work for the day. When he was done we sat and talked. He fell asleep and I got to read the diary he wrote while he was there.
I stayed until he was gone.
I watched him get on the bus and watched the bus drive away.
Day 3 was not a good day for me.
I'm glad we decided to stay another night and leave in the morning because the rest of the afternoon I was a heaping mess. I couldn't stop crying.
He is currently in Arizona for schooling but I get to talk to him EVERYDAY.
Only when he's not busy of course but I still get to talk to him.
=)
And now some pictures~
Quite literally!
I got 2 calls today from Nate.
Which is amazing.
The 1st one I almost missed.
I came upstairs and heard a buzzing...
My phone was on the floor on silent! Glad I came upstairs when I did
or else I wouldn't of gotten to talk to him.
I found out the day he really graduates.
March 22nd!
So instead of there being only 25 days to go, there is 30 days to go.
Blah.
Oh well, at least now I have a definite date.
So today is day 10 of using dermalogica and
there is 25 days until my boyfriend, hopefully, graduates bootcamp~
I decided not to post a photo this week about my dermalogica
progress as I had a hormonal break out, which was pretty bad,
and I'm not taking hormonal break outs into account..
As that would require more then face wash to help.
Ya'know?
So I'll post a few photos next week.
I know it was a hormonal break out as I got my period, eww,
and I always break out when it comes due to surge of hormones!
Yay.
I got my first letter since I talked to Nate on the phone yesterday.
I was really happy.
He told me that I couldn't send him the like 3ft tall
card I bought him though. So, I'll bring it on the road trip
and give it to him later on.
It feels amazing to have money and be able to spend it
without worrying if I'll be able to pay my bills.
I got a nice amount back on my taxes and I've taken advantage of it.
I've completely redone my room.
(Okay, not completely. There are a few things I didn't get rid of.)
I use to have this no-theme room with a green/blue comforter and sheet
set....
But now.
NOW..
My whole room has a real theme.
I'm not sure what to call it... sleek maybe? I'm not sure.
It's red, black, cream, and silver/grey.
Sounds odd at first. But let me tell you.. it's amazing.
I knew it would be and now that I've got it pretty much
all together... I know I made the right choices in colors.
Once it's fully set up I'll post a update picture.
No picture yet as I don't have the panels up.
Nor do I have any thing decor wise on the wall!
(Plus my room is a horrid mess right now. Boxes + clothes EVERYWHERE.)
So today, I went on a shopping spree.
First I went to the mall and just wondered around.
Even though I've got money - I'm still a cheap ass at heart.
Everything was just too expensive for me.
So I left and went to this shopping center and went to ULTA.
(Cheap as.. in ULTA? Wuuut.)
I had a good purpose for being there...
Dermalogica!
Quite expensive yes. But I bought the 'starter' kit.
I want to test this before I buy the full sized bottles.
I'm hoping this will work as I'm tired of fighting with my skin.
It's not acne - It's just pimples and black heads.
I've been getting a facial with extractions monthly to help.
Since I started getting those done I've noticed a BIG difference.
I get about 1/2 the break outs but I'm STILL getting them and I don't
want them at all! (We've all got dreams - this is mine.)
So this kit was 35$. I got the Normal/Oily skin one.
I'm going to do a weekly picture taking and post them on here.
Yes weekly instead of daily.
Please no pointing of fingers and laughing at me.
Without makeup my face is blah. I've got general redness, pimple redness,
and of course actual pimples.
Plus I've got some pimples on my chest too that disturb me.
So this is Day 1.
I'll be using this every night for at least 1 month.
(What some people don't know is that it takes 1 month for your
skin to go from forming of cells to what you can feel when
you touch your arm, face, legs, et cetera. So you MUST
use a regime for at LEAST 1 month to see the real results.
You'll always see that week 1 instant WOO result and then
it goes downhill. After 1 month it should balance and you'll
see the real everyday results. )
See, I learn stuff in school!
I also bought a bit of makeup from ULTA.
A liquid eyeliner, 2 glitter 'pallets' from NYX, and some baby brushes too.
--------
More to my shopping spree~
After ULTA I went to 2 other stores.
Clothing stores!
And I splurged a bit.
No shoes unfortunately but I did get lots and lots of tops.
I may post pictures of them later. I was unable to get
decent pictures today as my phone was dying and at the
moment that's my only photo taking source that'll capture my whole body.
Heh.
All in all I spent 250$ today.
And while it seems like a small amount for splurging - it feels
like a million bucks to me.
Oh. I also bought a wig.
It'll be here in about 3 weeks.
It was cheap but I just wanted something cheapish to test out
before buying a real good one.
=)
So yesterday while at work I got a text message from my boyfriend.
I was like whaaaaaaaat no way!
I immediately went on break.
About 10 minutes later I got a phone call from him.
Unfortunately due to me being at work, I only got to talk for 13 minutes.
Which was better then nothing but I still wished I had more time.
After the phone call, I got a picture message of him.
He looks so different since they buzzed his head.
He sounded different too.
I was trying really hard to not cry after the call.
Was pretty difficult.
I'm hoping next chance he gets to call, I can talk longer.
-----
About my eating issue, I did buy soup and it's helped.
I'm more into eating real things. And while it's not a lot
all at one sitting.. It's better then eating nothing.
There's not really much to list. Lol.
I just picked out different soups. Some with noodles.
Some with rice.
Then more hearty stuff that has meats and vegetable chunks.
I bought myself a really nice gift.
A iMac!
I've wanted a Apple computer for a very long time.
And I finally was able to afford it. =)
Past few days have been pretty good.
And even though my team lost (Tom Brady throws like a 2 year old!)
all has been well.
Now that I've finished part of my homework and wrote this..
I'm off to bed!
on Thursday, February 2, 2012
Today was good... and today was bad.
Good as in, I got a letter.
Bad as in, I've learned I've been basically starving myself
and made myself sick - Not on purpose.
I was thinking today about how my days are so long - 6am-10pm -
and how I'm just not eating enough.
Then when I thought about what I've eaten in the past week..
I really noticed that I haven't been eating enough. A child eats
more then what I've eaten in the past week.
I ate something real and filling about an hour ago and it was one
of the worst things I could've done today - food wise.
It made me really sick.
And I'm still suffering from it.
So tomorrow after work I'll be going to the grocery store to pick
up a bunch of soups. They will have a progression of hearty-ness to them
so I don't make myself sick again. And so I can slowly get back into
eating real things again.
I don't want to be this super unhealthy person that starves themself.
That's not me.
I just have to make sure I take the time to eat something decent.
And not a mini bag of chips and calling it 'a full meal'.
I'm going to track how much/what I eat daily now.
Just so I can know that I'm improving.
Else I'll just guess and that will help nothing.
