So today, I went on a shopping spree.
First I went to the mall and just wondered around.
Even though I've got money - I'm still a cheap ass at heart.
Everything was just too expensive for me.
So I left and went to this shopping center and went to ULTA.
(Cheap as.. in ULTA? Wuuut.)
I had a good purpose for being there...
Dermalogica!
Quite expensive yes. But I bought the 'starter' kit.
I want to test this before I buy the full sized bottles.
I'm hoping this will work as I'm tired of fighting with my skin.
It's not acne - It's just pimples and black heads.
I've been getting a facial with extractions monthly to help.
Since I started getting those done I've noticed a BIG difference.
I get about 1/2 the break outs but I'm STILL getting them and I don't
want them at all! (We've all got dreams - this is mine.)
So this kit was 35$. I got the Normal/Oily skin one.
I'm going to do a weekly picture taking and post them on here.
Yes weekly instead of daily.
Please no pointing of fingers and laughing at me.
Without makeup my face is blah. I've got general redness, pimple redness,
and of course actual pimples.
(What some people don't know is that it takes 1 month for your
skin to go from forming of cells to what you can feel when
you touch your arm, face, legs, et cetera. So you MUST
use a regime for at LEAST 1 month to see the real results.
You'll always see that week 1 instant WOO result and then
it goes downhill. After 1 month it should balance and you'll
see the real everyday results. )
See, I learn stuff in school!
I also bought a bit of makeup from ULTA.
A liquid eyeliner, 2 glitter 'pallets' from NYX, and some baby brushes too.
--------
More to my shopping spree~
After ULTA I went to 2 other stores.
Clothing stores!
And I splurged a bit.
No shoes unfortunately but I did get lots and lots of tops.
I may post pictures of them later. I was unable to get
decent pictures today as my phone was dying and at the
moment that's my only photo taking source that'll capture my whole body.
Heh.
All in all I spent 250$ today.
And while it seems like a small amount for splurging - it feels
like a million bucks to me.
Oh. I also bought a wig.
It'll be here in about 3 weeks.
It was cheap but I just wanted something cheapish to test out
before buying a real good one.
=)

Wig...... WIIIIIIIIG. :D (I love wigs....)
And oooh. I'm jazzed to see what kind of results you achieve with the Dermalogica. o:
Interesting bit of info about going a full month with a regime. I never knew that~. Maybe now I can convince my wishy-washy sister to stick with her new skin care regimes for more than a week or two before deeming them 'failures'. -_-'
It's pretty interesting. I always did that too. After 2 weeks I was like 'this sucks' and I'd never touch it again. But it does make sense. For a product to fully 'seep' in and take care of all the underlying layers of skin, you've got to use it every day for at least 30 days.
The skin has layers - so dirts and whatnot get into those layers. In 2 weeks you've only shed/scrubbed 1/2 of the dirt and stuff off and only taken care of 1/2 the problem. Go the other 1/2 and all the problem is essentially gone. Now, if you get break outs from hormonal issues (like I do + dirt/bacteria issues) then obviously once a month you'll still get a break out. But from mainly dirt and bacteria should be taken care of and managed. I've used all the cheapish stuff and the results were okay, but not what I fully wanted. My skin is MUCH better then it was 6 months ago. But I want EVEN BETTER. So hello Dermalogica!
Speaking of wig.. I should go track the shipping.
